Day 35: Rain, Harrisburg State House, Rain, Hershey Chocolate Factory, Rain, Julius Sturgis Pretzel Factory, Lightning Storm

The Harrisburg State Building was beautiful.  It started raining as we went in, but Chris was let us run in and he parked the car.

 The light fixtures were amazing!

The Supreme Court was so well done.  Because Pennsylvania was founded on the idea of religious freedom, they filled the building with references to that idea.

The Senate was so ornate but beautiful.  The chandeliers were massive.  A six-foot tall man has to stand inside to clean them!

We headed to the Hershey Factory Tour after the capitol.  The tour was fun (it was kind of like a Disneyland ride), but the place was a madhouse because it was raining, was a Saturday, and there was a concert going on.  We didn't stay long after the tour.

Our next stop was the Julius Sturgis pretzel factory.  The goal was to take a tour, but they were already booked.  We at least were able to eat some great tasting pretzels!

Joey made a picture of the American flag on Bekah's kindle.  It was a wet, rainy day.  We were greeted at home by a major electrical storm!
