Day 55: Missouri Life with the Moncada Family

We woke up this morning to a wonderful breakfast made by our hosts. Peggy and Mike  were so gracious in hosting us all for the weekend.  They are our dear former neighbor Nicole's parents, and they now own forty acres in Missouri.  This was a perfect way to wind down our trip as the kids spent hours outside on the pond, shooting, getting to drive the golf cart, and just enjoying country life. It was beautiful, and peaceful, and just about perfect enough for us all to pick up and move there.

Bekah needed a diversion, so the girls drove in to Hamilton.  This town started booming when it became a quilting town.  The Missouri Star Quilt CO. was founded when a family started having their mother do You Tube videos about quilting.  It became a hit, and now this town is filled with stores featuring different styles of fabric.  This is also the boyhood home of J.C.Penney!  They had several very pretty murals throughout the town.
