Day 7: More Fun with Ilinois Friends
Options for today:
Option 1: Go to Madison, Wisconsin to see the capitol building, check another capitol off our list
Option 2: Stay at the Timoti's house, ride lawn mowers and play with fire all day (and do laundry)
The resounding choice was option two!
The kids spent most of the day building a fire with Fana or riding their lawnmowers around the yard.
They had not one, but TWO ride on lawn mowers. It made Jeremiah's day to ride it down their driveway to pick up the mail.
Joey is a crazy driver. That grin on his face is him plotting to try and run people over.
Bekah was able to help Mrs. Timoti with some gardening.
We had dinner at the Klink's house tonight and it was great to catch up. Jeremiah and Jake are only a couple months apart, and Ben and Bekah are also a few months apart in age.
They had the most amazing tire swing! The younger boys had a blast getting pushed by the Timoti kids on the tire swing. I loved hearing their laughter in the backyard all the way frrom the front yard.
Group photo! The only bummer is that we are missing Fana! He had to run home and get the chickens back in their coup. Between the ride on lawnmower, being able to build fires, and the tire swing, we've sold half the kids on the idea of moving lol
Some friendly father-son basketball. (Dads won)
Joey and Laura slacklining.
Ending the evening with smores around the campfire.
Google finally let me in. I've enjoyed catching up on your posts. Your kids are adorable!
